LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Laser Hair Removal is a safe an effective way to remove unwanted hair from the face or body. The laser emits a single beam of light specifically targeting melanin the colour inside your hair follicle, this process destroys the cells responsible for growing a new hair, providing a precise and effective treatment.

A reduction in the number of hairs can be seen after each treatment, and people enjoy the benefits of not having to wax, pluck or shave right away, saving on time and money.

We use a Candela Gentle Lase which is the Gold Standard Laser device for permanent hair reduction. This machine has an in-built integrated cooling device that lowers the temperature of the skin before, during and after your treatment, minimising discomfort and unwanted side effects.

Your treatments are fully customised to your hair and skin type, carefully selected parameters are chosen for fast effective results and I give honest and correct advice on the frequency of your treatments and how many you will need, to achieve the best results possible.

Laser is perfect for any one wanting to get rid of unwanted hair, for those struggling with excessive hormonal hair, on their face or body from conditions such as Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome or Hirsutism, and ingrown hair sufferers.

Most people ask this question and it’s important that you know there’s a difference, and what machine is being used to perform your treatments

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a broad spectrum of light which scatters different wavelengths of light across the skin to destroy the hair follicle. On the contrary, laser emits one single beam of light, selective to the hair follicle, providing a precise and effective treatment. This also eliminates any unnecessary light being emitted into surrounding structures, therefore reducing the risk of unwanted side effects such as superficial burns
